Returns and Exchanges
Jewellery that is purchased online can be returned within 14 days of receipt. It must be in unworn condition in its original packaging. Returns cannot be accepted on bespoke orders or customised pieces (e.g. if they have been engraved).
Please be aware that all shipping costs incurred in returning the items are the responsibility of the customer. It is advised that you obtain a Proof of Posting from the Post Office as we can only be responsible for your parcel once it has been received into our store.
International customs duties and sales taxes for items that were shipped outside the UK cannot be refunded.
Shipping costs will be refunded for items that are incidentally delivered in a damaged or in a faulty condition and for orders cancelled before dispatch under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs).
Our pieces have a warranty period of 12 Months from the date of purchase. We will only accept repairs for items purchased from Alexander Davis Jewellery or www.alexanderdavisjewellery.com. Repairs for items purchased at one of our retailers or third-party online stores must be returned through the original point of purchase, and their warranty will apply.
Proof of purchase will be required to validate our warranty. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover accidental damage, inappropriate use or normal wear and tear.
Please be aware that the gemstones we use are natural products and although we select them very carefully we cannot accept responsibility for damage relating to internal flaws that they might have.
Please note that if another jeweller has made repairs or alters to the piece (such as resizing), this voids our product warranty.
Depending on the damage, it will either be repaired or replaced with an item of equal value.
All items outside the Warranty period will incur an additional charge.
